In 2017, it proved to be yet another career defining year for Fu. She starred in three TVB dramas. The first 2017 drama Fu starred in was May Fortune Smile On You, opposite Wayne Lai. Fu has expressed that she felt very nervous when she first filmed with Lai, due to his current status as one of TVB’s most well-respected actors, as well as her first time starring as the leading actress.
